For a brand with a memorable name but no visual to match, we built a logo identity that expresses its craft in a modern way.

No matter how memorable a brand name is, people do not remember it without a visual to go with it. In this project we turned the association in the brand's name into an abstract, geometric mark. We finalized the identity after testing it on labels, signage and digital channels.

What the brand needed

The brand's name was memorable, but it had no visual counterpart. It needed a mark that expressed the craft side of the work in a modern way and stood out in its sector.

Our approach

The sun association in the brand name (güneş means sun in Turkish) was turned into an abstract, geometric mark.
We chose a form that holds up in a single color and at small sizes.
The identity was finalized after testing on product labels, signage and digital channels.
Horizontal and vertical versions of the logo were delivered separately.

The outcome

The brand name now has a memorable visual counterpart.
The mark works in a single color, in engraving and on small labels without breaking down.
The identity gave the brand a modern look while keeping the emphasis on craft.
