Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 4, 2026
In short
Not a single cookie is set in your browser unless you accept. Browsing pages, reading blog posts and filling in a form do not require cookies. When you first open the site, a small banner appears at the bottom and asks for your cookie preference. “Accept”, “Reject” and “Preferences” are three buttons of the same size; under “Preferences” there are two separate switches, analytics and advertising measurement, and both start switched off. If you do not touch the banner, nothing is loaded.
What are cookies and browser storage?
A cookie is a small text file that a website you visit leaves in your browser. Browsers have
two other areas that do a similar job: localStorage keeps information until you
delete it, and sessionStorage keeps it only while the tab stays open. This policy
covers all three together, because the same rules apply to them.
Cookies and storage used on the site
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration | When it is set |
|---|---|---|---|---|
ega_riza | localStorage · strictly necessary | Remembers your answer in the consent banner, so we do not ask the same question on every page. | Until you clear your browser data | When you save your choice |
_ga | Cookie · analytics (Google Analytics) | Tells whether the same visitor is viewing different pages or a new visitor has arrived. | Google Analytics requests two years; if your browser applies a shorter upper limit, that period applies (400 days in Chrome) | Only if you allow analytics cookies |
_ga_YTJKCF1YQ4 | Cookie · analytics (Google Analytics) | Keeps the session information for your visit. | Same as _ga | Only if you allow analytics cookies |
_gcl_au | Cookie · advertising measurement (Google Ads) | Matches an ad click with a later enquiry so that we can count whether the ad worked. It is not used to show you ads. | Ninety days | Only if you allow advertising measurement cookies |
ega_tik | Cookie · advertising measurement (set by our own site) | If you arrived by clicking one of our ads, this stores the click number Google adds to the address (gclid). If you send a form, it is added to your request, so that we can measure which ad actually brought a client. It contains no name, email or phone number, and no request is sent to Google in order to store it. | Ninety days | Only if you allow advertising measurement cookies |
ega_giris | sessionStorage · analytics | Stores the first page of your visit and where you came to the site from; if you send a form, this is added to your request. | Deleted when you close the tab | Only if you allow analytics cookies |
wordpress_* | Cookie · strictly necessary | The session of the site administrator who logs in to the admin panel; the login page checks whether the browser accepts cookies with wordpress_test_cookie. | For the duration of the session | Only when the admin login page is opened; not set for visitors browsing the site |
How the tags are installed
We do not embed the Analytics and Google Ads tags page by page; both live inside a container called Google Tag Manager. The container loads only when you give permission, and every tag inside it checks the exact purpose you allowed: without analytics consent Analytics does not run, and without advertising consent the Google Ads tag does not run.
How we restrict Google Analytics and Google Ads
- Ad personalization and Google Signals are turned off — both in our Analytics property and on the Google Ads tag. We do not add you to a remarketing list and we do not use this data to show you ads. Our Analytics audiences are not exported to our Google Ads account either.
- On the Google Ads side, the only thing we measure is whether someone who clicked an ad sent the form or clicked the phone, email or WhatsApp link. What is counted is whether that happened, not who you are.
- If you allow advertising measurement, we store the click number (
gclid) that Google adds to the ad address in your browser for ninety days, and we add it to your request if you send a form. We may upload that number back to Google Ads together with whether the enquiry turned into actual business, so that we can move the advertising budget towards searches that work. No name, email address or phone number of yours is sent to Google in that upload — only the click number and what the outcome was worth to us. If you do not give consent, the number is never stored. - According to Google, Google Analytics does not store IP addresses; the IP address is used only to determine your approximate location (country and city level).
- No information that directly identifies you, such as your name or email address, is sent to Analytics. When you send a form, Analytics is told only that a form was sent and on which page; the content of the form is not sent. Clicks on our phone number, email address or WhatsApp button are also counted, but only the click itself, not its content.
- Visitor-level records are kept in Google Analytics for up to fourteen months; aggregate statistics such as page view counts remain.
Third parties that start only when you act
- YouTube: when you press the play button on a video on our work pages, the video loads from youtube-nocookie.com. From that moment, YouTube may use cookies or similar technologies under its own rules. No request goes to YouTube unless you press play.
- WhatsApp: the WhatsApp button takes you to WhatsApp; no WhatsApp cookies run on the site.
Legal basis
Storing your consent answer is necessary so that we can prove your consent and show the site
the way you chose; it is based on our legitimate interest (Turkish Personal Data Protection Law
No. 6698, Art. 5(2)(f)). Analytics cookies, ega_giris and the advertising measurement
cookie work only with your explicit consent (Art. 5(1)); consent for analytics and for advertising
measurement is asked separately. Data under Google Analytics and Google Ads may be processed on
Google’s servers outside
Türkiye; this also happens only if you allow it. Details are in our
Privacy Policy.
How to change your choice
- The “Change your cookie preference” button on this page and the “Cookie preferences” link at
the bottom of every page open the banner again. If you then choose “Reject”, or switch the
switches off under “Preferences” and save, any Analytics and Google Ads cookies set earlier and
the
ega_girisrecord are also deleted. - You can delete or block cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time.
Changes to this policy
When a new tool is added to the site, we update this table the same day. The current version is always published on this page.
